Rebounding For Lymphatic Health

Our bodies need movement for optimal health. For a healthy lymphatic this is especially essential.

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs which help to get rid of body toxins, waste and other unwanted materials in the body. The lymphatic system also involves in several other important processes including managing fluid levels in the body; and the distribution of white blood cells and other immune cells that monitor and then destroy foreign invaders such as bacteria, viruses and parasites, that may enter the body.

Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system does not move itself. The cardiovascular system is driven by the heart muscle which automatically pumps blood, but there is no engine as such within the lymphatic system, and for this reason, lymphatic flow relies completely on our conscious movement.

Lymph fluid moves through channels or "vessels" that contain one way valves keeping lymph moving in one direction only.

Trampoline exercise help to facilitate the bodies natural drainage and detox pathways as it utilises gravity against the body, it benefits every muscle and cell of the body and provides huge benefits to the lymphatic system. The up and downs pull benefits the body by produces a squeezing motion on the body and cells, squeezing out waste materials from the cells into the bloodstream to be excited from the body while simultaneously flooding cells with oxygen.

Rebounding causes the valves in the lymphatic system to open and close simultaneously, increasing lymph flow as much as 15-30 times faster, which is vital for the detoxification of cells, immunity, removal of toxins, and to slow down the ageing process. Prolonged use of a rebounder has also shown to strengthen bones.

Ten minutes per day is the ideal amount of time to devote to rebounding when first starting this exercise. More experienced rebounders may increase this to 20 or 30 minutes or enjoy multiple ten-minute sessions each day.
